Patricia Iyer MSN RN LNCC is president of Med League. After entering the field of legal nurse consulting as a medical surgical expert witness in 1987, in 1989, she established Med League Support Services, Inc., an independent legal nurse consulting firm. Ms. Iyer served for 5 years on the national board of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC) including a term as president. She served two years as the chair of the AALNC Education Committee, during which time she was the chief editor of the AALNC online legal nurse consulting course. Certified by the AALNC as a legal nurse consultant certified (LNCC), Ms. Iyer began her nursing career by earning a diploma in nursing from Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing in Plainfield, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Ms. Iyer is a frequent lecturer to attorneys, paralegals, nurses and legal nurse consultants. She has edited or coauthored over 20 texts. In her spare time, she enjoys writing and reading.
