Abstract
This fascinating program is a mock trial. A young woman was admitted to the hospital for a benign tumor removal. Postoperatively she complained of pain which contnued to rise. Multiple medications administered with the assistance of pain management. Neurovascular changes occurred and by the morning she had a cold, hard, pulseless blue leg due to compartment syndrome. Legal action occurred and testimony from the trial will be shared.
Summary of Content
This program will be set up as a courtroom. Demonstrative evidence will be shared with the audience. There will be different people playing the roles of the members of the litigation team and plaintiff and defendants. powerpoint will also be used.
