Rebekah Mead

Rebekah Mead, MSN Ed., BSN, RN, FND, OHN, LNC

Director, Consulting Services

Rebekah joined Med League Support Services (MLSS) as the Director of Consulting Services in 2016. Her responsibilities include developing partnerships and serving as a liaison between legal representatives, health care experts, insurance companies, and corporate Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) managers/officers to optimize workforce safety while meeting dynamically changing client needs. She brings over 30 years of diverse healthcare experience in the areas of managing Workers Compensation claims, Occupational Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Sexual Assault, HIV/AIDs, Head & Spinal Cord Injuries and the development of Investigative Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with a corrective plan of action strategies.  Rebekah will perform in-house Screen of medical malpractice cases, organize medical records, develop case chronologies and screen cases for merit.  Rebekah has also reviewed many cases as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and served as an expert witness on numerous cases. Rebekah holds undergraduate degrees from Raritan Valley Community College and Thomas Edison State College in Applied Science and Registered Nurse and a Master of the Science of Nursing from Thomas Edison State College with a Nurse Educator Certificate from Thomas Edison State College and Forensic Nurse Diploma from Kaplan University.

She is an active member of several healthcare-related organizations including American Nurses Association (ANA) and American Occupational Health Nurses (AOHN).  Rebekah welcomes the opportunity to assist you with your cases.

Roberta Sopronyi

Roberta Sopronyi, RN, BSN, MA

Legal Nurse Consultant

Roberta  has over 35 years of experience in various clinical areas including long term care, ICU as well as a clinical instructor teaching to LPN students.  She received her BSN from Wilkes University. She obtained her Masters at Rider University in Human Services and has a certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Legal Nurse Consulting.    Her most recent years of experience have been as a Director of Nursing in the sub-acute and long-term care setting, responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluating the care of 120 – 183 residents.  The focus of these positions was on assuring that a standard of care was met through the practice of the staff nurses and certified nursing assistants.  This was accomplished through education and training, policy procedure writing and adherence and implementing quality improvement initiatives to include but not limited to wound care and resident fall prevention.

Roberta has also worked as Assistant Administrator and was responsible for overseeing other departments as well as nursing in the sub-acute and long term care setting to include but not limited to the Human Resources  when she established  staffing patterns to meet federal and state guidelines, Dietary  and Maintenance Departments.

With this strong background in the long term care setting, she received her New Jersey Nursing Home Administrator’s License in July 2014.  She also holds a nursing license in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
