FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Flemington, NJ

Patricia Iyer completed work on five texts in 2004 and 2005.

Nursing Home Litigation: Investigation and Case Preparation, Second Edition will be released in September, 2005. We are now taking orders. Patricia recruited authors to expand the original 13 chapters to 21. Two chapters ("Inside the Nursing Home" and "Nursing Liability") have been extensively rewritten. This best selling text is essential for any attorney or expert witness involved in nursing home litigation, and assists clinicians in their risk management programs. Available on-line are the book's table of contents and preface.

Nursing Documentation: A Nursing Process Approach, Fourth Edition was revised and published by Med League Support Services. Previous versions of this text were published by Mosby. This text is sold in our webstore. An Indonesian translation of the third edition was released in December 2004.

The ABCs of Medical Records: Medical Abbreviations was expanded for the second edition. Originally containing 2,300 abbreviations, it has been expanded to over 5,700 commonly used medical abbreviations. See our webstore for ordering information.

Medical Legal Aspects of Medical Records is a 44-chapter text edited by Patricia Iyer, Barbara Levin, and Mary Ann Shea, all legal nurse consultants. Experienced physicians, nurses, attorneys, and other healthcare professionals have teamed up to provide a comprehensive text on medical records. Lawyers and Judges Publishing Company will be producing this text in November of 2005. We are now accepting pre-orders.

Business Principles for Legal Nurse Consultants, a new text, will be published by CRC Press later in 2005. Patricia Iyer was the chief editor. Jan Aken and Kathie Condon assisted her. The text was written for the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and consists of eleven chapters written by experienced LNCs. It is designed to help nurses establish and expand their legal nurse consulting practices. The text will be sold by AALNC. Contact us if you wish to be notified when the book is available for purchase.
