Patricia
Iyer receives AALNC's Volunteer of the Year award.
Patricia Iyer was honored
by the American Association of
Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC) in April 2006 when she was
presented with the Volunteer of the Year Award, an award
given out for the first time in 2006. Pat is the chief editor
of AALNC’s Online Legal Nurse Consulting course. As the
chief editor, she worked with the two associate editors to identify,
train, encourage, and edit the work of the content developers.
Pat served on the board of directors for 5 years, including one
year as president. She is the
chief editor of two AALNC textbooks: the profession’s core
curriculum, Legal
Nurse Consulting: Principles and Practices, and Business
Principles for Legal Nurse Consultants, published in
2005. Pat served as the chair of the Education
Committee of AALNC from 2004-2006.
