Patricia Iyer Becomes a Certified Legal Nurse Investigator

Patricia Iyer is expanding her practice as a legal nurse consultant by completing coursework as a Certified Legal Nurse Investigator. Certified Legal Nurse Investigators use advanced investigative techniques to work closely with private investigators and attorneys to examine signs of accidents, injuries, medical malpractice issues and medical record tampering. Patricia Iyer received training from LNI Institute in Tampa, Florida, which has trained under 15 nurses world-wide.

Patricia is the president of Med League Support Services in Flemington, NJ and has been practicing as a legal nurse consultant for 19 years. The legal nurse consultant works in the realm of medical and nursing malpractice, personal injury, nursing home abuse, product liability, forensic crime-related cases, workers compensation fraud, healthcare risk management, and insurance fraud. Patricia holds the only American Board of Nursing Specialty-approved certification for legal nurse consultants, indicating expertise in the field. She received the Volunteer of the Year award from the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants in 2006 for her work as chief editor of the legal nurse consulting online course. Patricia is past president of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and holds a masters degree in nursing.
